Wake upGospellied
|
When your life runs through your fingers like sand
when there´s no one by your side to hold your hand
when you thought you´d move the world today
and it simply fades away
Refr.:
Then wake up, light is shining through
oh, wake up, light is shining through
When people share a piece of life with you
and then dissapear forever out of view
when you rock yourself to sleep
with thoughts of unfilled dreams
Refr.:
So, wake up, light is shining through
yeah, wake up, light is shining through
Just close your eyes and listen to your soul
sing your little song and let it sound out loud
nothing´s waiting for your after all, but eternity
Refr.:
Now wake up, wake up, see, the light is shining through
look into the light and get another view
dance into it a new world will come true
When there´s no one left to hold you in the dark
when you long to tear the shadows all apart
when you want to throw all masks away
to be able to go your way
Refr.:
So wake up light is shining through
oh, wake up, light is shining through
the one you do it for is you
